▼I▲L is the side-project of Michael Coultas of Seattle's RIOTLEGION, veering away from the rigid sensibilities of recent industrial scene elitism to bring us a new project that ventures into experimental territory.

Through the use of occult samples, droning atmospheres and dark melodies the overarching impact of ▼I▲L is that of a menacing soundscape that evokes imagery of rituals and demonology. The genres of Witch House and Trap are heavily drawn upon but in the industrial spirit of experimentation Coultas describes that "Whereas RIOTLEGION is cold, hard, and meticulous, ▼I▲L is me having fun, and exploring how far I'm willing to push the boundaries of 'what's acceptable' even by my own standards.".

On 15 October 2015, ▼I▲L 's debut self-titled EP will see the light of day on Blind Mice Productions.
